Studio Pilates International Yeppoon is celebrating its first birthday this month. Official celebrations will be held at the studio on Sunday 24th November in conjunction with the completion of the current Amplify Challenge. There will be an open house at the studio along with a birthday cake and bacon and egg rolls to celebrate the occasion.
Franchise Owner Jessica Fairweather opened the studio in Yeppoon to build community and create somewhere with a sense of belonging where clients could come and work out in a safe space. Having practiced Pilates for several years in Brisbane, Jess was approached to become an instructor. After completing her instructor studies, she began to ponder what it would look like to have a studio of her own.
Yeppoon captured Jess’s heart, and it seemed like the perfect pairing to set up the business here. Jess believes that wellness is an important piece in creating a legacy and is passionate about what the studio has brought to the local community so far.
Studio Pilates International Yeppoon is open 7 days a week, offering 55 classes. All classes are instructor-led with all instructors having received full anatomy training by physiotherapists. Classes are personalised offering a lot of touch points for clarity. The studio can support clients from varying aspects including rehabilitation right up to post-natal. Care is important to the team and mature-aged clients can be guided and supported where needed.
Jess is passionate about the community and collaboration, seeking opportunities to work with other local businesses is a priority. You may already be aware that Studio Pilates International Yeppoon was a Gold Sponsor of this year’s Walk for Wellbeing.
Studio Pilates International Yeppoon was recently announced as the winner for the Best Pilates Studio in Yeppoon through the Quality Business Awards. These awards recognise businesses that achieve an average quality score of 95% or greater over the previous twelve months.
